1. Registration with the Gi Group Portal

What legitimises the processing activity?
– Performing a service

What happens if you do not provide the data?
– If you refuse to provide the data marked with an asterisk, you cannot register on the Gi Group portal

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are retained for 30 months after they are entered into the database, or since your last interaction with the Site or agencies, unless you consent to a further retention period

2. Search and Selection of candidates for direct employment with Gi Group

What legitimises the processing activity?
– Execution of pre-contractual measures

What happens if you do not provide the data?
– If you refuse to provide the data marked with an asterisk, it will not be possible for Gi Group to proceed with the search and selection activities and to assess your candidature

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are retained for 30 months after they are entered into the database, or since your last interaction with the Site or agencies, unless you consent to a further retention period

3. Searches and selections of candidates for direct placement at Gi Group for positions in line with your profile, by sending job offers.

What legitimises the treatment?
– Legitimate interest of Gi Group

What happens if you do not provide the data or object to this processing?
– If you object to this treatment, you can still register on the GI Group portal and submit your application for the job vacancies in which you wish to apply

How long do we keep your data?
– The data are retained for 30 months after they are entered into the database, or since your last interaction with the Site or agencies, unless you consent to a further retention period.

4. Carrying out psycho-aptitude, behavioural, technical or other assessments and tests and for the subsequent receipt, by e-mail, of assessment results and suggestions for personal development, via special platforms and websites (such as, for example, ‘Eggup’ and ‘Thomas International’)

– Consent of the data subject to the processing of personal data

What happens if you do not provide data or consent?
– If you refuse to give your consent, you can still register on the GI Group portal and submit your application

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are retained for 30 months after entry.

5. In the event of continuation of the selection process, execution of the pre-boarding activity aimed at insertion in Gi Group, through special platforms and websites (such as, for example, “Enboarder”)

What legitimises the processing activity?
– Execution of pre-contractual measures

What happens if you do not provide data or consent?
– If you refuse to provide data, it will not be possible for Gi Group to proceed with pre-employment activities

How long do we keep your data?
– The data are stored until the end of this phase and no longer than the end of the trial period.

6. Sending of information and promotional communications relating to the services offered by Gi Group/Completion of studies and statistical and/or market research relating to employment services

What legitimises the processing activity?
– Consent of the data subject to the processing of personal data

What happens if you do not provide data or consent?
– If you refuse to give your consent, you can still register on the GI Group portal and submit your application

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are processed for the above-mentioned purpose until you revoke your consent.

7. Sending information and promotional communications relating to services offered by other Group companies (training initiatives, career development, coaching, outplacement support, personnel search and selection and executive search) / Carrying out studies and statistical and/or market research relating to employment services)

What legitimises the processing activity?
– Consent of the data subject to the processing of personal data

What happens if you do not provide data or consent?
– If you refuse to give your consent, you can still register on the GI Group portal and submit your application

How long do we keep your data?
– Data are processed for the above-mentioned purpose until you revoke your consent.

The data will be processed by employees and collaborators expressly authorised to process them.

The data will be disclosed to third parties, including client companies or entities; other market players in the case of partnerships; Group companies in Switzerland or abroad.

The data will be processed by entities that carry out processing on our behalf, including companies that carry out website management services, candidate database management and maintenance services; companies that carry out communication mailing activities; companies that carry out market research.

Your data may be transferred to companies that are not based in Switzerland or in a state belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA), i.e. in countries that do not therefore enjoy the same standardised level of protection within the EEA. For this reason Gi Group has put in place appropriate measures to ensure that companies which are not based in Switzerland or the EEA and which process your personal data provide adequate protection for this processing.

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time by logging into your personal account or by sending an e-mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com.

You may request access to the data concerning you, their rectification or deletion, as well as restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability by contacting the Data Controller by ordinary mail or by sending an e-mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com.

You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, as well as exercise the other rights granted to you by the applicable regulations.
